The Divine spirit shield is the best Melee shield in the game. It requires 75 Defence and 75 Prayer to wield. Like the Elysian and Arcane Spirit Shields, the divine spirit shield reduces all incoming damage by 30%, and 6% of the original damage dealt is drained from your Prayer Points. Note that you also need to be a Member to wield it.

The divine spirit shield is the most desired of all the spirit shields in-game. This is due to the fact that it is used to protect against Magic, the most frequently used Combat Style. For protection against NPCs or players, the divine spirit shield would be most ideal against Magic based attacks, rather than Arcane or Elysian Spirit Shields.
